Programs - List that are really standard among PC vets

You need a full security software to keep from losing important data, just keeping your info secure and not having to reset windows.

Avira anti virus is the best free version antivirus I have found on Windows 10.

Esset's Nod32 paid has long time been one of the best paid anti-virus you can get I would recommend that if you want paid protection.

I've tested AVG, Kaspersky, NortonPaid, Macafee, BitDefender over the years and cannot reccomend them fully. BitDefender, AVG and Norton had major consistent slowdowns. The others just didn't protect where it should have. AVG and Macaffee I always viewed as main stream scams.

Additional protection options;

DoNotTrack Chrome me with all notifications off

AdBlock Plus with Fanboy and more subscriptions   https://www.fanboy.co.nz/

Send DoNotTrack request chrome setting.

I think at this rate Firefox surpassed chrome by a long shot although I could understand people still prefering it. We also have Waterfox and other cool browsers you might want to check out;
