Joypad's and controllers config

x360ce

This is supposed to get non xbox360 controllers running on xbox360 input games for pc, it works well but it can be fussy to get it right however its the best option for games with 360 controls present that don't support other controllers. Also ce allows you to change the controls on any xbox style controller game. You can turn all the buttons off then set them to keys in JoyToKey for full customization or use this app to get automatic in game support.

Joy to key

http://joytokey.net/en/

A good way to add functionality to a non xbox 360 device. Joy to key allows you to map any pc action to a controller. To do this efficiently you need to know what button numbers are set

Go to control panel hardware sound,

devices,

right click your controller,

game controller settings/properties.

If you get to a screen with a bunch of red buttons you can detect exactly what it will be in JoyToKey.

On the option tab of JoyToKey there's a few settings to get it to look more like the windows buttons. POVs, sticks ect.

JoyToKey has allowed me to add macro keys to my controller for RumbleFighter as well has save state load state in emulators. Capture and record keys. Microphone Binding ect. It basically gives you PC functions you would expect back to your Dual Shock analog controller or Arcade fighter stick.

Xpadder

Xpadder is a third option with a fresher looking GUI probably the most user friendly but not the most versatile. Your mileage may vary but give it a try to get your pad working.
