Linux Gaming

The two distros focused on gaming are Manjaro Gaming and Pop OS. Although Ubuntu and Debain should still be just as good.

You've also got SteamOS if you want to give that a shot although I tend to prefer having desktop level tools available to me.

More and more games are becoming available daily although I wouldn't expect to be playing certain games so you'll have to check for yourself what is availble by jumping in and installing the games you want to try or looking at a compatability list or info with a search engine.

Wine compatability list  http://appdb.winehq.org/  - A translation layer, to run windows stuff natively in linux. Not an emulator.

Codeweaver's Crossover is another program like wine for translating windows games, it costs money but it's worth it if you enjoy spending most of your time inside of Linux os.

A lot of the humblebundle games are Linux compatible, Debain might even be enhanced when the full version of steamOS comes out not only that steamOS is very close to Debain so a lot of the Linux content will just work.
