Highrated

A diverse list of games I rate high, trying not to duplicate more than one title in a genre.

Gradius V - This is still unfortunately the most graphically impressive shump.

Legend of Zelda Master Quest - Even the low graphical version of this is still played heavily today.

Star Fox 64 - One of the best space rail shooters of my lifetime.

Quake - Fast shooting action. Arena style before it was truly invented in the later games like Unreal.

Dark Souls - One of the best stories in a fantasy game in a long time, new game-play much better animations than other similar games out there. Neat unique theme to the game like how zelda has it's tradition. Make sure you get dsfix for the pc version.

Utlra Street Fighter IV - The best Street Fighter ever made.

Metal Gear Solid - PSX version, it has more complex stuff going on like maggots rather than the more HD GC version.

Castlevania Symphony of the Night - An easier side scroller still awesome.

Resident Evil - A game that started so much and used cool video game sound, keys, items ect.

Final Fantasy III - Story. Formula. This game had it all even graphics were good at the time.

Path of Exile

The best Diablo game (hack n slash loot) there is. Final Fantasy XIII style crystal leveling only way more complex, really fun attacks and loot. Race events. Nothing wrong with this game that I can see. Runs on a ton of computers and still looks modern to me.

Resident Evil 6 Mercenaries

RE4's improvement on mercenaries really created something new, 6 just enhances that experience. The main game might include stupid smartphone technology and annoying door shout outs to your partner but other than that this side game is really quite fun one of the best zombie games I've played. The new creatures make it great. Some of the campaigns in 6 don't feel like Resident Evil which sucks.

World of Warcraft

Fun and has so much potential fun in it but getting there is daunting something I don't want to blow time on again, it was fun in the day.

Dirt 3

My favorite entry in the genre.

Sonic all-stars racing Transformed

Closest thing to a modern Mario Kart that PC has, actually parts of it are better than mario kart 8 to me. It is very very difficult though and has some features which could be considered undesirable.

The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth

Unfortunately the graphics no longer smooth out but this makes the game run fast on a lot more rigs than the first one. Still this is an amazing combination of endless random original zelda style dungeons mixed with shooter gameplay.

Star Wars Shadows of the Empire

Minecraft Survival

Well known but still you can have some really good fun here if you do it right, play the main game as intended and try to survive and thrive, should be fun to come back to whenever you can get friends to join you.

Command and Conquer

Classic sound effects and music.

Mech Warrior 4 Vengeance
